Gissing Software appoints Managing Director to head growing US business
Company grows by 40% during 2005
London, 6 February 2006 – Gissing Software, solution specialists in the routing and transformation of real-time market and trade data, today announced the appointment of Kevin Iraca as managing director of Gissing Software, Inc. Gissing Software is expanding its US office, based in the heart of the New York financial district, to include business development and sales capabilities in addition to the existing technical team.
Iraca, who joins Gissing Software from Thomson Financial, will be responsible for overseeing all US activities including developing sales. At Thomson, Iraca was employed as vice president for real-time content and previously worked for Bloomberg as a Global Data Manager. Iraca brings with him 14 years of experience in the financial technology industry and an extensive track record in selling software solutions to finance businesses.

Gissing Software increased its overall workforce by 40% during 2005 to support growing customer demand, in both Europe and the US. The appointments in the UK include: Mike Hill, in the position of Marketing Director; Graham Legg as Director of Support and Development; and Peter McKenna who moves within the company to Sales Director.
Hill is responsible for overseeing all strategic marketing and public relations initiatives and he brings over 25 years’ experience in the technology industry, including more than 17 years in marketing and product management. He has held a variety of senior positions including Deputy CEO at LEWIS Communications, SVP Product Operations at Dr Solomon’s Software, and Marketing Director at Borland UK.
Legg joins from Metastorm where he was Director of Development, and brings with him 25 years of experience in the industry, working for companies including Reuters, Extel, CMG and Cable and Wireless.
McKenna, who joined Gissing Software from Misys Asset Management Systems in June 2004, moves from the role of Marketing Director to Sales Director. He has worked in the financial technology software and data business for more than 20 years at companies including Reuters and QSP Financial Systems.
